This year the Diocese of the Western States’ annual synod will be co-hosted by St. Joseph’s and St. Martin’s Clayton this coming week, Tuesday through Friday. On Tuesday, April 16, St. Joseph’s will host the following Open House events; all are welcome:

We welcome Fr. Franz Longsworth in his new role as Vicar of St. Joseph’s Chapel, along with his wife, Jen. We give thanks for Dean Napier, now Assistant Priest, for his faithfulness to our parish families over the years and are grateful he will continue to serve on staff.
Fr. Longsworth was ordained to the priesthood on December 18, 2021 at St. Peter’s Anglican Church, Oakland, and is a graduate of St. Joseph of Arimathea Theological College. Welcome!

Located a block from the University of California, Berkeley, the Chapel serves as the Archbishop’s Chapel and the Collegiate Chapel for St. Joseph of Arimathea Anglican Theological Seminary. It is also a parish home for neighboring university students and the Bay Area community.
